1. What can you tell us about Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure is basically a cloud computing interface that is provided by Microsoft for accessing cloud computing. 

2. What do you mean by cloud computing?

Cloud computing is an abstraction process that is high-level and focuses on business logic. It is a service that is delivered through the internet. It helps customers with the computing services without the need for any infrastructure.

3. What can you tell us about the scalability of cloud computing?

There are two types of scalability in cloud computing: Vertical scalability and horizontal scalability. Vertical scaling tries to increase the existing capacity of the machine. In horizontal scaling, the physical aspects are increased.

4. What are some of the advantages of cloud computing?

One of the main advantages of cloud computing is that the versatility of the machine can be altered according to business requirements. You only have to pay when the system is in use. It is also easy to reallocate the system.

5. What do you mean by PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS?

PaaS stands for Platforms as a Service, SaaS stands for Software as a Service, and IaaS stands for Infrastructure as a Service.

6. What are the different deployment models available in cloud?

There are three different deployment models available for cloud: Private Cloud Deployment Model, Public Cloud Deployment Model, and Hybrid Cloud Deployment Model. 

7. What are the basic functions of the Azure Cloud Service?

9. What are the services used to manage resources in Azure?

The Azure Resource Manager is the basic infrastructure that is used for managing deploys and deleting all the resources.  

10. What do you mean by roles?

Web role is used for deploying websites. VM role is used for scheduling of window services and tasks. Worker role is useful for executing the process that runs in the background by deploying the website. 

11. What is a domain?

A domain is made up of interlinked and interconnected nodes that are often a measure undertaken by the company. These particular relations are carried by only one point of the company.

12. What can you tell us about the fault domain?

The fault domain is basically a logical working domain where the underlying hardware is sharing a common power source and switch network. When VMs are created, the Azure network distributes it across the fault domain. 

13. What is the difference between verbose and minimal monitoring?

Verbose monitoring is used for collecting metrics according to the performance that enables a close analysis of data. Minimal monitoring is the default configuration that allows the use of performance counters collected from the operating system. 

14. What is a BLOB? What are the different types?

BLOB is basically a binary large object that can be made up of any type and size of file. It is mainly divided into two types: the page blob and the block blob. 

15. What is the basic difference between page blob and block blob?

Each blob is a block that is having a unique block ID. Maximum size of this blob is 200 GB. The page blob is made up of pages where the data range is determined by the offsets. 

16. What is the difference between Windows Azure bus queues and Windows Azure queues?

Windows Azure queues are used for storing the storage infrastructure of Windows Azure. Bus queues are a broader concept of the messaging infrastructure along with publishing and subscribing.

17. What do you mean by DeadLetter queue?

Messages are moved to the DeadLetter queue when the delivery count for a message on queue has exceeded. It is also used when a message crosses its expiry date and the entire message is held in a queue. 

18. What can you tell us about the Windows Azure platform?

The Windows Azure platform refers collectively to a PaaS developed by Microsoft. It is programmed to run a deployment vehicle and a runtime for the data center. 

19. What can you tell us about the free trial model of Azure services?

The trial of the free software allows the client to get the full version with advanced features for a limited period of time. When it expires, customers are charged standard rates.

20. What do you mean by usage based fees?

Usage based fees means that you are billed according to the services that you have availed. For example, if you have subscribed for the virtual image, then you may be charged hourly.
